Get the complete in-person study experience. Choose to live on campus or travel in for your classes from nearby. All our campuses include a library and 24/7 learning commons, as well as a full range of support services and a First Nations student centre. We'll look at two things: your Year 11 results and your soft skills. Soft skills are personal attributes that will help you succeed at study – and life. Things like communication skills, resilience, empathy, and motivation to create a world worth living in.
Often your first university qualification, a bachelor's degree gives you foundational skills and knowledge. You can often choose to study online or on campus, and many bachelor's degrees include workplace learning experiences where you get hands-on experience and build your professional network.
Honours allows you to complete a research project on a particular area of interest. It can be integrated with your bachelor's degree or you can complete an honours year as a standalone course.
These courses are short, entry-level qualifications. They are ideal for you to upskill in your field, undertake professional development or explore a new area of interest. They can also provide a foundation for further study. Specific courses available are -
University Certificate in Workforce Essentials
Micro-credentials (sometimes known as micro-subjects) are short, eight-week subjects that give you cutting-edge skills for the workplace. A two-point micro-credential only takes around four hours of study a week, while a four-point micro-credential just eight.
Single subjects are short online courses in which you study the same material that's in our degrees. You could also receive credit for your single subject if you decide to pursue a related degree.
Study Link subjects are short online subjects that prepare you for success in your degree. They can fill knowledge gaps, enhance your skills and build your confidence.
Cross-institutional study lets you choose subjects at Charles Sturt University that are not offered at the uni you're enrolled at.
